Riding on a Clear Day and Seeing The Duke

Did you get your clocks turned back this morning?  Did you enjoy an extra hour of sleep?  Dutch has an internal clock set for Dutch Time.  He is now sitting there waiting for me to get his Bone Time right because so far nothing has been at the right time.  A bit early, but he took it all none-the-less.
Bike ride was glorious.  Frank checked the tires with his new tire pump before we hit the road.  Carrie tossed her bike in the back of Andrew’s truck and left him sleeping off the LSU win over Alabama last night.

You can see the weather was glorious.  Not a cloud in the sky and the air was dry and crisp.  It felt fabulous to be flying over the roads with the sun in your face.

We stopped and ate lunch at Brewbachers and scored some poboys and hamburgers with fries.   DSC02365DSC02363  DSC02366The highlight of the ride was seeing The Duke in the window of a ranch house along one of the streets.  He waved to us as we went by.  I think he posed when he saw that I was taking his picture!

We finished up with 17 or 18 miles.  Next week, the LSU Lakes.
Yes, Yes…..I am going to work on the Snowball Mystery Quilt

RIGHT NOW!

  2. Hmmmm - I'll believe it when I see it. Out fresh airing and exercising when you were supposed to be mystery quilting. You could probably blame this one on Frank because he had to test out his tire pump and see if it would work.

    Hugs anyway - Marie
