Quilt Show is Finally Hung!

Thursday, Friday and Saturday the Sassi Stripper Quilt Guild got together and hung the quilts in the Jones Creek Library in Baton Rouge, LA  for our 2nd Annual Kaleidoscope of Quilts II.  Now we are preparing for the Open House this Saturday August 6, 2011 from 10 to 2.  We will have demonstrations on:
hand quilting                               redwork
yo-yo making                             paper piecing
We will have a sewing machine set up for the Strips of Love Quilts that will be donated to Braveheart and Habitat for Humanity along with the 16 quilts already completed for these charities.  The public can sew on the Strips of Love and feel a part of the donation quilts they will be helping to sew together.
I can tell you that to look at the quilts in person is spectacular!  The way the hang and show their beauty is incredible!  You must come see.  If you are not lucky enough to be here, I have helped you out with some pictures.  But in person is way better!
Here are some photos of our show! (PS the album links don’t work but it is easier to post them this way)

Hmmmm, maybe they DO work, try one and see........
