Beryl's Baby Steps
Check out Beryl's Baby Steps Quilt. She is not participating, as far as I know, in this with us, but was on the Design Wall over at Judy L's place. When I saw it, I thought, why didn't I think of doing it that way???
One color, or one major color, gives it a totally different look. And yet still keeps the zig zags true.

I like Beryl's quilt. I have made zig zags using one major color (I will email you pics), but what is different with Beryl's is the size of her strips. The colored ones are wider than the white. The way she did it the quilt has more zippity do-da that having the color and white equal in size. Me too (as I hit myself in the head) why didn't I think of that! :)
