I just could not wait!
So tonight, after a long, hard day with Lois' family and sharing a shoulder with a good friend at lunch, I had to touch fabric.
I waited until after dinner, a trip to Best Buy to check out photo scanners (if anyone has a good recommendation for a photo scanner or where to buy one I could use it!) and a disagreeable conversation with social security (who does not recognize power of attorney authority for anyone, geez how am I supposed to get my mother's check put into the new account?????? Government morons, but I digress......)
All you need to know is that at some point I sat down to the machine and began to sew.
This is what ensued.
Beauty at its most wonderful! And check out the "beauties" at Nina-Marie's Creations!
I landed here from the Nina-Marie blog hop and I'm happy to have found not only another quilter but also a GSMD lover! :) I own a Bernese :)
ReplyDeleteYour WIP is really promising :) do you already know what it will be once grown up?
Have a nice day!

Whatever it looks like, it a delightful. I completely relate to having to touch fabric after dealing with government (or any) idiots on the phone. GRRRRRR.... I call it therapy sewing!
ReplyDeleteHope it helped.
cheers,
Rayna

ReplyDeleteIt really does look like fish. I love the colors and look forward to seeing the progress you make on this piece.
