Matisse Didn't Worry About It

I made all the Christmas presents, I finished all the food I was bringing places and they all have been delivered (except for Cousin Karen and Favorite Son Matt).

I just heard Danielle say the most amazing thing this morning.  She says the mantra for 2013 needs to be

I will figure it out.

Not, I don't know how to do that, or I don't understand that......but I will figure it out.

It makes perfect sense as quilters, not to put limitations on ourselves.  Do you think Bach could have improved?  How about Matisse?  How about Glenn Close?  Could she be a better actress?  The answer is all Yes, they could always be better.  But that didn't stop them from doing what they did!

And it shouldn't stop you from doing what you do.  You will figure it out, I know you will.

And besides, it just sounds so positive when you say it, especially if you smile.  You know, that evil little smile........
