Happy New Year!

.....to all my readers and followers!

I hope you all have lots of love happiness and money in 2015, and that it carries over into the future.

Tonight we will babysit the grand-dog who is fireworks challenged and McGee who is even worse.

I can't feel sorry for those who make the news bad, whose lives are troubled and who cause trouble for others.  My mantra will be, "Change something.  Get better, do something to help yourself."  In that vein, I will continue to direct my efforts toward the animals, who cannot speak for themselves and make those changes.  It is up to the humans to make the changes for them.  Humans need to take responsibility for themselves.

I have several creative ventures coming out this year.  the first of which is the installation of the show Quilt the Swamp, curated by Michael Young.  It is nearly complete on my design wall.  I trusted the "washable" part of washable markers that was on the box.

I also have a map to go into the show.  My first.  I have to admit, it is harder than it looks.  But I will continue to practice and add some fabrics that are better suited to making maps.

What will you do in 2015?  How can you make it better than 2014?

  3. Lots of fireworks here but thankfully none of the dogs mined as long as we were on the sofa. I agree with you about not feeling sorry for those who cause trouble or feel sorry for themselves. I will help those who are trying to help themselves and the others can find someone else to feel sorry for them. I have enough trouble taking care of myself, Pape, and the animals! Maybe they could feel sorry for us!
