Stash Report 2-21-14

I made 8 slices of pie, some chocolate, some pumpkin.  All in felt so there was no fabric used, per se.  But work, none the less.  They were Christmas presents for my Fiber Group people.

They were very surprised and loved the idea of Pie!

Then I worked on my super secret project and used up about 3/4 of a yard of various fabrics by the time I got things lined up and beautiful.  It will be an incredible thing.

And I am going in a little bit to do some quilting on the Jersey Shore!

But first I need to finalize my 2015 Mystery Quilt!

The new quilt part in the header is one of the first quilts I made when I started quilting again about 15 years ago.  I made it for Frank, he wanted one for his car and he loves lighthouses.  He still has it in his car.  You gotta love that!

You can see all the mistakes in there that I wouldn't make these days!

  2. I wondered about the header. I started out with lighthouses too! Frank is such a good man, smart too :-)
I do miss seeing a dog in your header though :-( but wait! Are those dog hairs I see? Aaaah, yes, I feel better now

  4. Your pies are a lot less fattening than mine! They are super cute!

I am impressed with your totals used.

  5. We all have quilts that were part of the learning process! The checkered lighthouse is so cute! I am glad the pie pincushions were a big hit! How did you do the whipped cream? They do look labor intensive!
