Stash Report 3-15-15 and New Quilting Equipment

I have new Quilting Equipment.  My chair was the one I bought when I opened my Job Force One office, oh let's see......maybe 18 years ago.  It was a huge chair, very comfortable, and made a perfect executive picture behind my huge desk.   I looked.....well, very executive!

the vinyl has begun to break down and the chair is really large.  I wondered out loud last night as Frank was debating whether to go get the Boston Cream Pie he was craving.  That was all he needed to jump into the car and head to the Office Depot next to Target Grocery (where Boston Cream Pies reside.)

After the Memorial Service for Michael's wife, and lunch with  Paula and Glen after the service, we went to pick up my chair.  And the Bassets, of course, wanted to help assemble.

Frank fought them off long enough to get it together.  McGee kept taking pieces and bringing them to another room.

So I now have a new, and I am not so sure exactly how much smaller, chair.  The other one lasted about 15 minutes out on the curb before it was scoffed up by some passerby.  So no photo, by the time I went inside to get my camera and came back out, it was gone!

I have been working on the Skateboard Quilts and have a lot of yardage usage to divulge.  Skateboard 3 and back, Skateboard 4 and back and the back for the Rainbow Quilt.  And binding for one of the Skateboards.  So here are my numbers for the week.

Read them and weep!

  1. I hope the chair is as comfy as it looks! You have been getting a lot done despite all of the boyz's help! Down 17.83 yards - wonderful!

  2. good thing it wasn't one of those IKEA chairs. Bassets have a hard time holding those dang screwdrivers to put them together.
