The virus is active again in the cornea.
So I have increased the antiviral med and they’ve added a new set of drops that treats herpes in the eye. Just to be clear, I don’t have herpes, but now all the pharmacy people think I do with all the antivirals and drops!
In addition to this, the New New specialist Dr Tran has “suggested” I wear this wonderful eyepatch that acts as a moisture barrier ( to keep it in) and to keep my eye closed.
It is called Glad Press and Seal. Oh, yes.
Not all the time, but when I can......... Carol says I need to quilt myself a fall leaf eye patch to wear over it.......oh, my life can be fun.
You poor thing!!! So sorry you're going through this...BUT your necklace is BEAUTIFUL!!!!
ReplyDeleteShingles is a form of herpes. It could be worse I had a medical professional tell me I had HIV because I was taking an anti-viral. I hung up on her and called her supervisor.
ReplyDeleteOMG, I'm so sorry you are going through this!! I'm pretty sure I'd so a Halloween patch. You could get one of those plastic ones and decoupage it. Sorry, don't mean to make light of it. Best wishes and much love to you.

I didn't have to wear an eye patch when I had my herpes virus in my eye. I am sorry that it is active again. Hopefully the new meds take care of it.
ReplyDeleteWhat? How can this keep happening? I'm so sorry that it's back and pray that it doesn't cause permanent damage.
