I ended up using black tone-on-tone so it's a bit dark. I'm still not over the waste of fabric and have all my scraps in a BIG tote to make a very scrappy octagon quilt (won't have the depth of the paperweight) one of these days! Good luck. I put mine together in rows rather than units so I could avoid those blasted set in seams!

JanI Quilt for Funhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18344303465941082875noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7567148070676790205.post-11210015250704961472012-08-27T09:30:48.088-05:002012-08-27T09:30:48.088-05:00Take care and be safe! Stay safe from Isaac...it's packing some wind and rain. I think they're saying we're supposed to get quite a bit of rain from it, but the eye of the storm is landing over Gulfport, MS. Stinking hurricanes! Your paperweight blocks look fabulous -- what a fun project! :)Denise :)https://www.blogger.com/profile/07306906507013593208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7567148070676790205.post-49288491245223876032012-08-27T07:34:10.516-05:002012-08-27T07:34:10.516-05:00I still love it!I still love it!Charlene Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05769160043253313527noreply@blogger.com
