I also have a newer Rowenta iron that I bought from Wal-mart a few years ago and have had no problems with it even though I've dropped it a few times and it is cheaper than the Oslio.Peggyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16449950835887981117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7567148070676790205.post-61000368414650409352017-06-25T08:19:24.912-05:002017-06-25T08:19:24.912-05:00I have a $12 iron from Fred's; I go really che...I have a $12 iron from Fred's; I go really cheap. This one's been around for over a year and gets nice and hot. The trick, I found, is to never put water in the iron. Water causes that incontinence problem that makes a mess on fabric. I just use a regular spray bottle when I need.
Don't get me wrong, I would not snub my nose at an Oliso, but at $199 at Joann they are way too rich for me. I'd probably get tangled in the cord and jerk it off the ironing board. That is exactly what I did with my $12 iron a few weeks ago except I didn't feel a bit of regret for the breakage. Besides, it still works.Mary Marcottehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14569619947909529203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7567148070676790205.post-82151699637689970932017-06-24T07:54:35.718-05:002017-06-24T07:54:35.718-05:00Autocorrect put pattern in there but there is no p...Autocorrect put pattern in there but there is no pattern for the Panasonic otherwise I would make one and send it to you - lol!
quiltedfabricarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00036237963134480179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7567148070676790205.post-14671225152885758912017-06-24T07:53:10.752-05:002017-06-24T07:53:10.752-05:00I have a pattern Panasonic cordless and like it. I've not heard good things about any expensive iron. Buy cheap and replace when it poops out.quiltedfabricarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00036237963134480179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7567148070676790205.post-64875451229269688752017-06-24T01:48:38.828-05:002017-06-24T01:48:38.828-05:00I inherited my mothers old black and deckers. So I always bought cheap and easy to replace.swoozehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16072848652991759330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7567148070676790205.post-53495739717513292952017-06-23T13:24:32.555-05:002017-06-23T13:24:32.555-05:00The only quilter I know who shows one often in her...The only quilter I know who shows one often in her photos is Victoria Findlay Wolfe. I use a Panasonic Shark from Walmart and when it starts to poo out, I dump it and get a new one (under $50).Quiltdivajuliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15593385265961892847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7567148070676790205.post-48380885295379684422017-06-23T13:15:43.202-05:002017-06-23T13:15:43.202-05:00I bought one at the Quilt Sewing and Expo years ag...I bought one at the Quilt Sewing and Expo years ago. It lasted a year and pooped out. I managed to find the vendor and they sent me a replacement. It didn't last another year and it was more expensive than $79. I think I paid around $130 for mine. Now I usually buy a Black and Decker digital advantage for around $35.00. They usually last me a couple of years. patty a.https://www.blogger.com/profile/01861433552460661701noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7567148070676790205.post-52463939566061286952017-06-23T12:59:06.572-05:002017-06-23T12:59:06.572-05:00I should send you a picture of my iron!
