Day 20 Porch Quilt Show
Day 20 of the Porch Quilt Show! Here is a quilt I own but I did t make. I was part of the Secret Society of Barn Builders, a group of maybe 8 or 9 art quilters testing patterns forJulie Sefton’s book Build A Barn. The pieces we made traveled as a special exhibit to 3 quilt shows. The barn is one of the two I made. When these ladies found out I had lost everything in the flood, they each made blocks and sent me a comfort quilt. Remember the Daily Bird quilt? Lynne Tyler made several blocks. Some came from Valerie in Canada and Hilda in Germany. It was an amazing outpouring of love and support I will cherish forever. #quiltswissy #quiltsanddogs #ssobb
We just HAD to do something when you lost so much . . . such a marvelous group of 12 women, our Secret Society of Barn Builders (the SSOBB for short). Hope that quilt brings LOTS of smiles to those who pass by your porch today.
