Day 26 Porch Quilt Show

Day 26, I think that’s correct. I got confused when I hit the 20’s, but don’t we all, right?

This bright baby came about as a ruler class from Sherry Herringshaw. She was teaching us how to cut fabric with various steep triangle rulers and make unique star blocks.

That was way back when traditionalism ruled quilting. Maybe 2005 or 2007 maybe?  As you can see I was anything but traditional there!  I decided that those would be the only blocks ever made like that. Still love ya though, sherry!  #quiltswissy #quiltsanddogs #porchquiltshow

And these are some carrots from Carrie’s garden. Homegrown carrots, like everything else, have a very strong flavor. I love those baby C’s!
