Day 33 —Porch Quilt Show

This Day 33 quilt is a bit different from the others. It is one that I didn’t actually make myself. In fact, it was the first quilt I ever owned that I didn’t make.

My guild issued a challenge to bring coordinated fabrics in a box that we would share among ourselves. No one knew what was inside the boxes or to whom the boxes belonged. We went home and made a quilt from the fabric inside the boxes. Kim Wagner chose my box so these are my fabrics but her quilt making skills.

I made a quilt for someone else from the box I chose.  The pattern is called granny square. It mimics a crocheted afghan. Thanks Kim!  #quiltswissy #quiltsanddogs #porchquiltshow
