Day 34 Porch Quilt Show

Day 34 quilt is so special to me. I just finished the binding last night. My cousin lost her husband Rodney Thibodeaux a year and a half ago. I took some of his flannel shirts and reassembled them into a Memory Quilt for her. I love this soft worn flannel quilt because it reminds me of his life working on his vintage cars or In his shop. Or playing his Cajun music. I used parts of the shirts like the labels and buttons and sleeve plackets.  This will be a wonderful soft hug for her. #quiltswissy #quiltsanddogs #rodneyquilt

  3. Good job getting this done so you can display it and then pass it on to your cousin. I am sure it will be very comforting to her.
