Tom Hanks Too?

So scary, many of the quilt shows are cancelling, and I think that we will see more of that in the weeks to come.  Unbelievably, New Orleans cancelled the entire weekend!

I certainly have enough fabric and chocolate chip cookies to keep me busy for a while.  Being incarcerated in my quilt room might have some positive results in that direction.

Here is the piece I completed today.  At my Fiber Group last month we decided to make fabric books that will pass around to each member. As we get a book each monthly meeting, we create a page with our own artistic style.

My first pull was Suzi’s book.  She is an incredible artist who shares a love of dyeing, mark making and fabric manipulation with me.  She is a creative stitcher not afraid to play and take risks with her art.

Whoa!  Big shoes to walk in here!
