Day 43 Porch Quilt Show
Day 43 Porch Quilt Show ! This is one I called Cheddar Squares. It is reclaimed shirts, I guess they call it upcycled shirts these days. The pattern is a wonky log cabin square. I had wanted to work with the color cheddar because a lot of quilters don’t like to have yellow in their quilts. They feel it takes over the quilt. I also wanted to experiment with a drop shadow. I wasn’t quite sure how to go about it. So I got some black tulle and I use that as the shadow. It works quite nicely, because it actually looks like a shadow!

Frank looks great!!!! Hubby and I were talking today on our way back from the market. He stays in the car but I noticed he needed a hair cut. He was getting snappy with me and I said "remember, I'm suppose to cut your hair when we get back home!"...golly!!! He sure changed his attitude quick!
