Tonight is the night for the REME Challenge. This is the Black and White Plus a Color Challenge. I got the binding on this one done last night while watching Dancing With the Stars.
Cynthia and I joined Paula this morning in her Quilt Haus. I cut out the pieces for the next challenge.
The next challenge is to take a single block and change whatever you need to in it to create a secondary design. I have the most amazing thing. I have won at this guilt before, several times. And this time I will slay them! LOL
I can't show you either one right now, but tonight I will show you my Don't You Love Her Madly" quilt with the WINING RIBBON!!!!!!!
Yes!

Stash Report 2-15-15 RED!!!!!
A quick report. Busy I may be sporadic in my posting. Just be prepared to miss me a bit!
FINALLY in the red. Red is where you want to be. It may not last long so drink it in while it lasts!
To get there I counted the Octopus quilt and the back and binding. The Seuss 3 quilt and the back and the binding. AND the Rainbow top but not the back or binding.
Next time I hopefully will be able to count the binding and backing on the Rainbow quilt for the boys. And only 3 or 4 to go.

Eco-Bundle Red
I put a second eco-bundle together this afternoon using the same silk and
beets (should do well as it totally stained my hands)
onion skins (they were white onions so I am not sure what that will do)
blood oranges and avocado skins.
Yes, I had to eat two avocados for art's sake.........
And I took my walnut shells and acorns, beat them into submission with a meat beater and put them into a pot to boil. They are not sitting outside "steeping".
Them immediately turned a nice dark brown.......
Lots of nice happy things happening.
If you take the center of the acorns and dry them, then grind them, you can make a very bitter flour that is edible.
Interesting stuff.

52 photos gallery 32 RED!!
We have some red berries on the nandina bushes. 38 degrees this morning, perfect skies. On Sunday I decided to take my stack of new quilt books and inhale them on the back patio. The Bad Basset Boyz were running around terrorizing squirrels, or maybe it was the other way around.
Walking out to the back patio I DROP the iPad. It just slips off the stack in my arms. AUGGGGHHH!
fell right on the flagstone. it hit perfectly on the edge of the case, shattering the screen and shorting out the insides. They could not get it back together because the case was bent to a trapezoid.
So now I have the newest iPad Air. I really didn't want an iPad for Christmas, but I guess I got one!
