Design Wall Monday Week 1 1-7-13

I am working on Reflections still.  No progress since the week after Christmas.  Bad me!

I am beginning to cull the t-shirts and onesies for baby Maylee and cut them into a size that would be a good center block.  Her quilt will be simple but dramatic.

I have a baby quilt to start for my GodSister who became a grandmother to her son's new baby!  The baby lives in Scotland and was born on December 31 at 11:56 PM.  Talk about cutting it close to the wire!

I completed work on the Fiber Group project.  We had to interpret a photo.  Soon we will have another project for Feb to work on.

Remember the journal covers?  Here is one that April did on her new machine!

I finished up my notebook cover!  I hand embroidered my company logo on it.   And I sewed it on my new to me sewing machine, a singer 401a. I found it on Craigslist and my husband got it for me for Christmas. And it works!

So you may want to revisit that post!

  1. Congrats on the new baby in your family.

  2. Those batiks in reflections are to die for! I hadn't seen that one. From a pattern?

  3. so pretty and I love the design because the fabrics pack such a WOW factor in them.

  4. Very pretty blocks! I like that curved line dynamic. Congrats on the newborn Scot :)

I love to hear from friends! Thanks for leaving a message!
