Happy Halloween - thank goodness it is over!

Carrie came over and we carved pumpkins. We did doggy pumpkins this year. Too cute. Then today I cut them up and made pumpkin mush out of the rinds. I cooked all afternoon and ended up with about 20 cups of pumpkin mush.
I will be at the hospital with Merilyn tomorrow so Thursday I will make pumpkin pies and some pumpkin bread. Some of the mush has been frozen for later use.

I also cooked 10 lbs of chicken breasts for Bonnie Doon's meal since she is only eating chicken and rice and treats these days.

So the freezer is chock full of food and food makings!
