I am so excited to share with you my Design Wall today. These beauties came from the two workshops lead by Judy over the weekend in Baton Rouge, LA.
Judy and I are new BFFs!
All the fabric for these guys came from my stash. Not a single piece did I purchase. And the African print from 3 years ago is so beautiful when paired with the colors from the hand dyes I purchased two years ago. I love this quilt and can't wait to complete it.
The Saturday workshop was Morning Splash. I was not totally in love with this pattern, but about 1/2 way through the class when it began coming together, I was hopelessly lost in in! It definitely grew on me. I can't wait to complete this one. And it definitely looks Easter-y.
Thanks Judy! You are one swell gal!

ReplyDeleteThose look like great fun. I would love to take a workshop with Judy.
ReplyDeleteI love the way the fabrics you pulled from the african print looked together. Pictures don't do it justice compared to being able to see it in person. It was gorgeous together. great job.
ReplyDeleteGreat projects. Coming from stash....BONUS!
ReplyDeleteBoy, I sure would love to be at a workshop with Judy!! Bet you had a blast!
ReplyDeleteHey...where did my comment go?? I'll try again
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky to take a class with Judy! And I really love that african fabric with the brights.
I love it when fabrics from my stash seem to serendipitously come together...meant to be! Now that Judy's moving to Texas maybe I can catch one of her classes when visiting family in Houston.
ReplyDeleteI love what is on your design wall....I really really love your header...that is spectacular!
ReplyDeleteI love your Morning Slash. The colors are beautiful together. Now, be sure to finish them - don't want them to become class UFOs.
