Wow! The first design wall in the 2012 new year! This is what is on my design wall, but it is not what I am working on.
And then on top of all that, Judy called for #5 which is Polar Bears on my list of UFOs. Aughhhhh! It is a UFO because I HATE it.
glen: maybe I will just go shopping ---- I do have that 40% off coupon at Hobby Lobby........
Shopping sounds nice! It is definitely one way to avoid an UFO. Suggestion: Let's give away all the UFOs we don't like. By the way, I like your #5.
ReplyDeleteHow sad to have to work on a quilt that you hate. Why don't you just give it away!
ReplyDeleteLove the houses! I started an Adopt-A-UFO at my guild for those projects that would probably never get finished because the original maker had grown to hate the project. I was given two UFOs to find new finishers for. Unfortunately, they were both so ugly, I ended up stuck with them. Both are purse/bags made with commercially pre-quilted fabric. Your UFO is something I am sure I could find a home for if you were in my guild. It is really quite nice.
ReplyDeleteGreat projects to work on...I especially love the primitive dogs. :o) I absolutely can not work on a project I dislike a lot. I gift it to anyone who wants to finish it.
ReplyDeleteOh Glen -- I'm sorry your #5 was a quilt you don't like. Maybe you can just grit your teeth, get it done, and then know you'll never have to look at it again!! I do like your Tiny Tiny Scrap Houses -- fun mix of colors! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the dog blocks on your design wall. Do you really have to finish #5 Polar Bears, because gifting it to someone who would like it as suggested by the previous commenters sounds like the perfect way to unburden yourself.
