Good News and Good Fabric - Just How Many Projects Do You Have Going?

Good news from the surgeon today.  Nodules are not growing, still are considered cold nodules and my brother's cancer is generally not the kind that has a genetic link.  So monitoring me is down to once a year.  In fact, I scheduled my first 2013 event when I left the office.  Pretty forward looking, I would say!

Good fabric arrived yesterday.  And I cut out another quilt top.

"What?" you ask incredulously.  "More projects?"

I know.  I know.  But this was a gorgeous Stained Glass Quilt that Sarah spent many hours laying out, and re-laying it out, and posting it and re-posting it.  But I think she has got it down now.

I am going to work on that today, and maybe cut out the Cheddar Wonky Shirt Cabins' sashing strips and spend some time figuring that out.  I did figure out the shadow so I need to work out cutting diagrams for it.

And I still need to put the borders on the Mystery Quilt and look for quilting options.  And I have more Tiny Tiny Houses and Tiny Tiny Trees to make, and I do have that neighborhood quilt cut out too that will be soooo cool to see coming together.  And the dogs, I want to make Chloe and DiNozzo and GrandDog Hugeaux as well.  That would be a really cool quilt!

So how many is that?  Six not even counting the UFO list, oh yes, Judy pulled the Sri Lanka Elephants, so that is 7, and the 2 for Dan and Amber that need to be quilted makes 9.

Whew!  I think I will take a nap now.

  1. I think that you are avoiding the elephants!

  2. Not commenting on your number of UFO's and projects underway - people in glass houses and all that. But...I love Garret's QOV! Too cute!

  3. In my humble opinion, one cannot have too many projects going at a time. When I get tired of working on one, I can put it away and work on something else. Having them all cut out and ready to sew is a bonus.
