And I am taking a class from Elizabeth Barton through Quilt University. Have you ever taken one? I love it.
Inspired to Design. I was urged on last week by Nina-Marie (THANKS!) but I have wanted to take that class for about 2 years now.
Here is one of my sketches since this is what I am working on right now.
We shall see what develops from this abandoned roller coaster tracks in City Park New Orleans!

let us know how you like quilt university and is it worth your time and money - I had thought of it different times but never joined.
ReplyDeleteNow that looks interesting. I have taken a lot of classes at Craftsy, and enjoyed all of them. I took one class, one of the EQ classes at Quilt University and it was worth every penny. There are some things that I think work better on the Craftsy platform, but it is possible that the one you are taking at Quilt University would do fine on a print the instructions out style of teaching. I'll be interested to know how this class goes for you.
ReplyDeleteI took 3 or 4 classes at Quilt University. They were a lot of fun and I learned a lot! I'd love to take more, but I just don't have the time right now! I took a couple at another place, and they were great, but I don't remember where that was!
ReplyDeleteUmm....interesting. I see a lot of HST in that project. Can't wait to see what you come up with. I've never checked out Quilt University...maybe I will. Thanks for sharing.
