I have amassed a group of fabrics for my Tea Towel quilt. I am needing to get to work on it for sure here now.

I want to do it like the Gee's Bend stuff I love so much. I find it freeing to work impulsively like that. I just have a problem working on that large a scale.
So this will be a learning quilt for me as well. I love the colors, I love the towels and I love the idea.
So, why would I not love the quilt!
More later
And I want to dye! More on that too!

ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your GB inspired quilt! I improv pieced most of my top except when I joined the borders to each other. I could have improv them, but the control part of my brain took over and out came the straight edge.
ReplyDeleteThis is intriguing to me, I have never heard of a towel quilt. Hmmmmmmm. I must google ;-)
