I am a sucker for a bargain. And I had been wanting this cookbook but not really wanting to spend any money buying it. I needed some turmeric and gel caps, now that is a necessity! So when I ordered it, there was a pop up saying I could be getting free shipping if I had $14.75 more in merchandise. Do you think I ordered another pound of turmeric like a normal person would?
Short answer, NO!
I remembered I wanted this cookbook and went straight for it! The same thing happened last week when I wanted some Cambogia. It was cheaper if I could use it as an add on. What? Cheaper? You bet I went in there and ordered Modern Quilts Minimal!
The Paleo Cooking From Elana's Pantry arrived yesterday and I have had my nose in it ever since. It is fantastic. I need to get rid of some of the cookbooks I have in the pantry right now, do you think I need to have a giveaway?
As you may (or may not) know, I no longer eat wheat, corn, soy, dairy or sugar. Personal choice. Makes me feel better and my cholesterol numbers are in the basement! Which is what Frank needs, and he follows the diet halfheartedly. He eats lunch for a living with maintenance managers and plant big wigs, so he gets to eat anything he wants whenever he wants. It is me who is deprived day in and day out.
So this book uses almond flour and coconut flour, which I will check out at Whole Foods this week. But it promises to be incredible.

My mouth is watering, maybe I will skip quilting and drive over to Whole Foods right now!
