Sew Stitch Snap Share! Click here
Linda over at kokaquilts featured me on her Sew Stitch Snap Share Post. It makes me feel somewhat like a celebrity! Go over there and see me!
I need to share a post with my week’s work. I was busy with Foxes most of the week. The Fox Blox were done for the monthly Rainbow Scrap Challenge. That is until the flood destroyed our home, my sewing rooms and both our vehicles. I lost so much, all our furniture, so many books and photos. The whole last year of my life. But we have rebuilt and bought more stuff. And the box of Fox Blox somehow survived.
It is now a quilt top, with its original backing fabric sitting in my To Be Quilted pile.
I also had a chance to do some needlework on my One Road Through Town piece this week. You can see my post about what I wanted to convey HERE.
It was an honor to be asked to be featured in this great venue. I love it!
Have a Happy Thanksgiving. We are eating at the Grand Buffet in the Renaissance Hotel here in town and doing the family thing on Saturday.
Loving the look of your denim embroidery! And your 'fox box' is wonderful, with the perfect backing fabric! Thanks for sharing with 'sew stitch snap SHARE'
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on two lovely tops. I’m admiring many details in the jeans quilt.
ReplyDeleteOne road through town might make you a bigger celebrity--it's incredible! All the details do draw you in and make you look for more signs of a town. I foresee a boy will one day drive Matchbox cars over this quilt. What little boy could possibly be the one in my vision?
