I Still Have A Thyroid

surgery went well and despite having  the Migraine From Hell, I am doing well. It took an act of Congress to get the tiny Zomig pill that I take when I get a migraine. Dr.Kleinpeter readily approved the med but the hospital did not stock it. I thought I had  brought mine but did not. So frank headed home to get it.  Then it had to be approved by the Hospital Pharmacist. And once they had it in Their possession I won’t t get it back until I leave. So there.

Then Frank had an “episode” when he couldn’t figure out how to get the sofa to turn into a bed. And he didn’t readily see sheets and a pillow case. He had been in a near frantic mood all afternoon but this really set him into turmoil. While it shouldn’t be my responsibility at this point to calm him, I really needed to. I finally made him just sit down. When the amazing nurse came in I think she sensed what was going on and she took over.

She got the bed made for him, and later came into check on him like a momma taking care of her chick as he was sleeping.

I am sore, my migraine is at half mast and I just took my night  pain pill.

But other than that I hope to have a good night and be home tomorrow.
