Baton Rouge Modern Quilt Guild July 4th Retreat

Spent 4 wonderful days with my quilting peeps at The River House Retreat just sewing and eating and drinking!

Here is some of what I did:

HST with some batik 5 inch squares I collected over some years.

Some of the quilting peeps social distancing like they should.

London Fog Tea Towel Challenge from years back.  I added the flying geese and that thin border of the blue that pulls out the Bobby's coat.

Brenda's little red squares

Mary and the word fabrics

Belinda made flags on the 4th of July.

Tracy has this amazing improv flower we all lusted after.

  1. You escaped! I am still locked down. My husband is in the hospital so I will get to go pick him up. I may actually see people. I can't go in but can line up to pick him up.

  2. That had to feel wonderful to get out and socialize with your quilting friends! Looks like a lot of wonderful work was accomplished.
