Are you going to the Houston Quilt Show?



My friend Michael Young, an incredibly talented guy who is now working with Turtle Hand Batiks creating his increible patterns, sent this out today.

So if you are going to Houston, and yo wnat to have some fun with Michael, tell him you know Glen Parks and the Bassets say hello!


To all of you out there, if you plan on attending the Houston Quilt Show please come by the Turtle Hand Batiks booth #651 and say hello. I will be doing FMQ demos on a home machine for beginners several times during the day on Thursday Friday and Saturday. Looking forward to seeing you.

News From Ami Simms about the AAQI Money From Houston


I contributed to the cause!  This is the one I bought!

We are over the moon!

During the four and a half days at International Quilt Festival in Houston last week the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative sold 1,597 quilts earning $75,000 for the AAQI.
