Day 5 - There's No Going Back!

Rebecca texted me late yesterday afternoon, while I was emailing Sophie in fact, and asked me if I knew anything about the lab left in her front yard!  I did !!!  She was so excited!  ANd it made me feel great.  You need to try this, there is a group of people who make small art pieces and leave them all over their towns.  I have always wanted to do this.

So for today's Day 5, I have this grouping of triangles that are mostly the same size.  I say mostly because they are the cut off pieces from the Paperweights Quilt (which needs to be sandwiched and quilted).

Theresa called and said she had the stuff I asked her to get and I wanted to swing by there before I went to work out.  Her granddaughter loves to write in those composition book journals.  I had just enough time to make a cover for a composition book for her before I went over to pick up my stuff!

I started out by taking pictures of my triangles, loose and fancy free!  And I took pictures of the steps and how things went together.  And I happened to glance at the camera screen, NO MEMORY CARD it screamed at me!

There's no going back to get pictures of the triangles!

So here is my Day 5 project, finished!

Today I have to:

1.  trim the Kangaroos - count in inches with which to smash PattyA
2.  Trim Dinos - Count in inches with which to smash PattyA
3.  Trim Buggy Barn Dogs- already counted
4.  Trim Soar! to sandwich and quilt
5.  Add binding to Kangaroo, Dinos, Baby Squares, Dogs
6.  Quilt Soar! - count in inches with which to smash PattyA

Somewhere in there I have to vacuum the house and pick up the 17 inches of dog hair laying around..........They are beginning to move and undulate as I walk by......

  2. Just popping by to say that I LOVE all your photos of the smelly bassets, especially your flying basset (would make a great wall hanging...) and your journal cover is quite lovely too! If you want to see some PUGS and quilts, hop on over to my blog at PugMom Quilts!

  3. Great!
Internet broke here most of the time. No email. I'm in a pickle. Can't update my blog. Not even sure I can post this, but I'm trying. Took about 40 minutes to get here!
