Karen, one of my Vet cousins, (and my favorite cousin) brought me this birthday one. She said it was the first thing she ever knitted and would definitely be the last! LOL.
She looks just like Chloe the Smelly Basset.
To get an idea of her size, that is my baseboard in the hall. And the pictures were taken with my new CAMERA. See, I have decided to like it!Off to find some hiking shoes for Frank. He has wanted new ones for 6 months but when we get them on his feet he looks at the price tag and gets "cold" feet!
Crazy. We will buy some today or I will stop listening to him gripe about needing new ones!
Your new basset is ADORABLE. Let's hope McGee doesn't eat her. What a perfect birthday present--I can't believe that is anyone's FIRST knitting project. You must be her favorite, too. Happy Belated birthday--it looks like you had a grand time!
