Here is the dandelion leaves. Sort of looks like fish, huh? They will be worked this week and a piece will emerge sometime soon. It is due in about 1 1/2 weeks at the Fiber group meeting. Can't wait! Check in this week to see how I am doing on it.
And here is the scribble that used up the leftover paint. As you can see the paper pieces were ineffective as a discharge medium.
To solve that problem in future pieces I did purchase a packet of address labels that are sheet size, like one to a page. I will run it through the shredder and have nice individual strips. Or cut out a design and then just stick it on the wet sun paint.
We are supposed to be getting very cold in the next few days. And the rain that heralds the front's passing through has started. I can see the wind tossing leaves around and whipping the tree limbs to and fro.
The 46 degrees of lunch will plunge to the low 20's tonight. And tomorrow night is supposed to be in the mid teens.
It has been a long time since we have had the global warming affect us so! Al Gore........gear up!
Nice! Now the question is what the heck to do with it? I have a lot of chunks of sun printed fabric with leaves that I love but have no clue on what to do with them. (I'm a lot of help aren't I) the left splotchy area would make a great moon in a sunset sky. Maybe do it again but space them out more? Then you can cut them out and use them. I see trees or fish. I'm sure you will come up with something brilliant though. Can't wait!
