Sewing Strings

I needed to get into my studio and clean up a space if I were going to sew me some Dr. Seuss. In the middle, which is about the only thing that is going to get cleaned up, I had a pile of scraps from the last 5 projects.  It kept growing and growing and growing.

No.  i cannot toss them.

Absolutely not.  No way.

So I tore out some phone book pages, cut them to 7 1/2 inches square.  Used them for foundation piecing.

And these ensued.

Took me three hours.

But I didn't throw them out.  Not ever.
