Pie, Anyone?

Sorry I have been missing for the last two days, my friend lost her  mother.  She was 94 years old and lived a huge life.  While the loss is sad, you can't be be sad for a shortened life.  It was plenty long!

My condolences to Ann on the loss of her mother.  Something Ann said to me the day her mother died has stuck with me every time I think of her mom.  She said that her mom and dad met on Xmas Eve and danced all night long; now they are dancing once again.

Since my Gallery 33 in 52 Photos is Sweets of the Season, I am going to add my pie to that list as well!  LOL, everyone there will be putting REAL candy in the photos!  LOL.

In between I have been making pumpkin pie and chocolate pie.  but not the kind that packs fat cells on your hips!

They are pincushions.!

They will be presents for my Fiber Group tonight at our Xmas Celebration.

Don't  you LOVE LOVE LOVE that dollop of whipped cream?

In my family we call it

"schxxxx schxxxx"

Actually it is hard to spell because it is the sound it makes when it comes out of the can.  My father called it that, and it stuck for three generations now.

So sit down and have some schxxx schxxx with that pie!

  1. So sorry for your friend's mother passing.

I had to make the pictures bigger before I noticed they were not eating pies! I didn't see the pins sticking out of the chocolate pie. Those are so cute!
