I Think I Am Going To Live -----

I had my doubts for the last 4 days as I bravely and fearlessly fought the evil giant pneumonia.  But I got up this morning and cleaned the kitchen, I haven't cared whether the germs and crud won.

I went to see the valiant disease fighter Tara and when she walked into the room she says, My God do you look bad!  Gee, thanks!

You don't really think you do a lot around the house every day, but don't do it for 4 days and you see exactly how much you DO do!  (And how much Frank DOESN'T do.......just  sayin')

Frank and Carrie went off this morning to pick blueberries in Covington, about an hour east of here, north of New Orleans.   So I guess after this post I will look for some blueberry cobbler recipes.  I had the desire to go, I just didn't think I had the strength.  I am hoping they get home in time to take me to lunch.

(Now my computer is not typing B's!!)

So for my list of things to do this month.............

1.  Tiger and Melissa's Saints Quilt
2.  Colorado Carrie's girly girl quilt - She is the one with the 5 boys and my cousin Jason
3.  Finish up my Cotton Robin
4.  Add the last round to the Modern Robin
5.  I still have 3 quilts in line all ready to be quilted

Now I just need to complete the healing cycle......I am getting hungry, so I must be better!

  3. Ugh... feel better! Funny how the maid stops coming the minute the Missus gets sick huh? Stupid dirt, touching all your things inappropriately. Nerve.
I hope the blueberry pickers clean the harvest for you... or at least pour your drinks while you do it....
Blueberry Grunt was always the big one in my childhood home... and pie. Blueberry pie.. time honoured, simple deliciousness.
    Dammit, now I'm hungry.
    And nostalgic.

  5. Glad you're feeling better. But I'm not sure why you're cleaning the kitchen...isn't that what dog tongues are for?

  6. I didn't go near you so I can't take the blame. Don't go to fast b/c the relapse is worse and takes longer to get over. I am just getting over my session.
