Pat Van Burkleo - Modern Quilting
Pat took over for me as President of the Baton Rouge Modern Guild this year.
I don't know if he mentions it in the article, but he designed and printed the fabric on Spoonflower.
He is an amazing quilter!
QUILTS AND DOGS We are back in the house since the Aug 2016 flood. Dogs are great and I am back to doing the quilting thing. Join us on our new journey in a "new" house.
The Black, white, and mustard quilt is so yummy! That is one I wish I had made! Very nice article. You are so lucky to have him part of your MQG. Our MQG is no longer.

ReplyDeleteA FB friend tagged me on the article and when I saw it, I thought of you guys and our La Traveling Quilt. I don't remember reading that he designed the fabric, but now I need to add another WOW. He really is talented! And only 3 years of quilting?! I have 30 and can only wish I had that talent. (Geez)
