The pattern is is by Katie at Quiet Play called sew Retro Vintage Kitchen. You can find it on Craftsy. I think a nice pale green-ish/blue-ish/teal-ish background will be perfect.

If you want to tell Sarah goodbye, check out her obituary here.
And....
This is for LeeAnna at Not Afraid Of Color, who like me, was terrified of starting the first rosette from Millefiori.
I was siting at my sewing machine and I saw group of fat quarters I have been collecting for like, 5 years. And I thought, I need to use them in something really great.........

OK, girlfriend. It is up to you now.
Nicely done! And to Leeanna - I believe the gauntlet has been thrown ;-)
ReplyDeleteoh no!! The gauntlet has been thrown!
ReplyDeleteYour choice is awesome. I can't stand how cute it is!
I got used to seeing all the abstract jewel tones, and yours is a breath of vintage love! Great idea totally. LeeAnna
The only problem I see is that the poor little sweetie has to jump in circles for forever. Since there's a puddle, I suppose it will be okay. Gosh, it's just so stinking cute!
