No rain today! Not a drop......yet.
There is a quilt store closing again. 50% off.
Got there at 10:10 AM and stood in line for 2 1/2 hours to get my choices cut, and another 2 1/2 hours to get to pay. Got home at 4:03 PM.
I actually left, went home, let the dogs out, fed them lunch bones and drove back......only 3 people had been checked out.
why didn't I leave.......At some point you have vested yourself in buying that fabric.
Like the $400 at Best Buy.
QUILTS AND DOGS We are back in the house since the Aug 2016 flood. Dogs are great and I am back to doing the quilting thing. Join us on our new journey in a "new" house.

ReplyDeleteYou stayed because you wanted normalcy and fabric is normal for you. I hope you got some great buys and found something you absolutely love. Fabric is a comfort food to me and my sewing room is way over weight. Yours needs a little help right now a sale works.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear that another quilt store is closing, but I hope you take full advantage and find some beautiful fabrics. I agree with the others: you deserve a little retail therapy. Besides, you need to replace the things that were lost. Enjoy (but tell the owner how sorry we are to see the place close).
