The show theme is Wonders of the World in celebration of Earth Day.
My piece is about the Ocean. Of course I didn't take a photo of it before I brought it over. It is an older piece that my mother, deep in her Alzheimer's fog, had helped me make by handing me pieces of blue strips to sew together. It was confusing for both of us...….
Judy Momemzada has several of her large pieces in the show. They are magnificent! She does fiber art combined with her photography. And commands bigger prices than I, for sure.
I am going out there tomorrow to help hang some of the pieces and hope to have some photos to show you after that.

The Arts Council of Livingston Parish invites everyone to visit their new exhibit, “The Wonders of the World” in celebration of Earth Day. The focus of the exhibit will be celebrating our earth’s beauty through different mediums. Participants will be juried artists of the ACLP.
The exhibit will begin on Wednesday, April 3rd and end on May 25th. An opening reception will take place on Saturday, April 13th from 10 am till 1 pm at the gallery, 133 Hummell St. D.S.
