while we were in Savannah, Frank was beguiled by the thought of the Railway Museum. So once again I paid $11 to see one engine. One. Uno.
The redeeming factor here was the exhibit of old quilts that had been repaired by the SCAD, Savannah College of Art and Design. In the Railway Museum. So odd.
Here are all of them........now that was DEFINITELY worth the price of admission!
They were displayed stretched on a wooden frame. I am thinking that one with the pink sashing strips with the 4 stars had the dark colors faded into the pink. Maybe it wasn’t even pink to begin with.
