Wet, Very Wet

The rain started around mid afternoon and ended about an hour ago.  My rain gauge says 4 inches.   My neighbor and I talked briefly, she always wants to be ready to evacuate.  But it is just our  anxiety response.  It is expected to start up again about 6 AM tomorrow morning and there are areas that will see some high water since the ground is saturated from today’s rain.

McGee spent the storm huddled in the laundry room, I wet towels and kept the dryer running to quell the sound somewhat.  DINozzo clung to my side, every step I took!  I kept tripping over him as I got up to iron my seams and finally had to put him out of the sewing room and into Frank’s office.

I worked on my Cotton Robin piece.  We are in the last stage Quilting and embellishing to send back t9 the original owner.  I am putting some vintage buttons on this little job.

It will be sooo cool!
