On Saturday last I went over to the Livingston Parish Arts Council to see the ABCs Exhibit.
This is my friend Mary Felder's piece appropriately titled CHARGE! Which is what you do when you get the kids ready for back to school, right?
At Livingston Parish Art Council they have a pretty active Kid's Art Class program. Mary, of the above piece, was an Art Teacher. This group did a yard/string resist painting.
And here is mine. I was trying to think of something easy to do, and yet meaningful. So what did you do in every English class the first week of every school year?
Oh, yes - the dreaded first essay of the school year when your summer always sounded dull compared to the other kids'.
