Day 40 porch Quilt Show

Day 40 is another of the quilts I use as a primer for quilting stitches. I had taken a class at QuiltCon in San Antonio in 2013 with Krista Withers. Krista won the top prize at the huge international show for her amazing machine quilting.

  I came home and created a quilt with negative space and practiced her innovative techniques.

Sadly, Krista is no longer quilting these designs anymore. Her personal choice.  But I think she was an amazing teacher with some sweet talent. #kristawithers #quiltsanddogs #quiltswissy
